2010 Jeep Models are Here!!
Jeep has come back for 2010 with a full lineup of Jeep models, from the seven passenger Commander to the less rugged, crossover, the Compass. Here is a quick look at the 2010 Commander, Compass, and Grand Cherokee. Jeep has also come out with a 2010 Wrangler, Liberty, and Patriot.
2010 Commander: New for the Commander is a 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine now standard on Limited and Chrome bodyside molding now standard on all models. The Commander is the most capable three-row SUV with Quadra-Drive® II ELSD 4×4 performance The 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine features the economical Multi-Displacement System (MDS) which deactivates four cylinders when eight are not needed. When cruising at highway speeds between 40 and 60 mph, MDS uses advanced computer technology and electronic throttle control to transform the HEMI® V8 seamlessly from V8 power to an efficient four-cylinder powerplant in .04 seconds and based on 2010 EPA estimates, gets 20 mpg highway. The 3.7L V6 engine is standard.
2010 Compass: Highlights of the Compass for 2010 include a Five-Star Side Impact Crash Test Rating, and new standard front-row active head restraints. The Compass is the most HWY fuel efficient 4WD in America, with its 28 mpg. Jeep Compass raises the bar in style and comfort with a fresh looking cabin that includes softer and higher-grade materials, bright chrome accents and more. Other features include LED-backlight gauges, padded door armrests and a padded center consol, standard map dome lights, a leather wrapped park brake handle (only standard on Limited) and an available remote start for convenience. A six-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, heated front seats, and rear reclining seats are available.
2010 Grand Cherokee: New exterior enhancements for 2010 include chrome door handles now standard on Limited, chrome body side molding now standard on Laredo, chrome roof rack side rails now standard on Limited, chrome license plate brow now standard on Limited, and full-size spare tire and wheel on Laredo. A 5.7L HEMI V8 engine is now available on Laredo X and a 3.7L V6 engine is now standard on Limited. The 5.7L HEMI V8 engine features the economical Multi-Displacement System (MDS) which deactivates four cylinders when eight are not needed.
